AsaMo｜Matrix Calculator Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is written in both English and Japanese. In the event of any inconsistency, conflict, or discrepancy between the English version and the Japanese version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
1. App Name and Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application "AsaMo" and related services provided by no-title.
This Privacy Policy concerns AsaMo and inquiries relating to AsaMo. It is not a privacy policy for the no-title official website as a whole.
2. Information We Collect
AsaMo does not require users to create an account. The developer does not intend to directly collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, or account credentials through the core functions of the app.
Matrix data entered by users, calculation results, saved matrices, calculation history, preferences, and related data may be stored locally on the user's device for calculation, saving, history, export, and usability purposes.
Unless otherwise stated, such locally stored data is not intentionally transmitted to or stored on servers controlled by the developer.
AsaMo can generate and copy matrices or related text in formats intended for use with LaTeX or external AI services. AsaMo does not automatically transmit matrices, calculation results, or generated text to external AI services.
Users may choose to copy, share, or enter the generated content into another application or service. In such cases, the handling of that information is governed by the terms and privacy policy of the application or service selected by the user.
Depending on the user's device, operating system, app store, advertising settings, consent settings, and third-party services used in the app, technical information such as device information, OS version, app version, diagnostic information, advertising identifiers, approximate location information inferred from an IP address, IP address, usage data, and interaction data may be automatically processed by third-party service providers.
If a user contacts no-title through Google Forms or email, no-title may receive information voluntarily provided by the user, such as the user's name or display name, email address, inquiry details, app version, device or OS information, screenshots, and other attached information.
Such information is used for responding to inquiries, investigating bugs, improving the app, preventing misuse, and taking actions required by law.
Information submitted through Google Forms may be processed and stored through services provided by Google.
3. Purpose of Use
Information processed through the app or third-party services may be used for the following purposes:
- Providing calculation, saving, history, export, and other app functions
- Improving usability, performance, stability, and security
- Displaying, measuring, and improving advertisements
- Analyzing information processed through advertising services and fixing bugs
- Responding to inquiries and legal obligations
4. Local Storage
Saved matrices, calculation history, settings, and other locally stored data are generally stored on the user's own device. Users may be able to delete such data by using app functions, clearing app data, uninstalling the app, or using device settings.
Because locally stored data is not stored on servers controlled by the developer, the developer generally cannot remotely view, recover, or delete such data.
The developer is not responsible for loss, corruption, deletion, recovery failure, leakage, unauthorized access, device failure, synchronization failure, or any other trouble relating to locally stored data, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
5. Advertising
AsaMo uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner advertisements and rewarded advertisements.
Google AdMob and related advertising services may collect, receive, use, share, or otherwise process information such as device information, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, usage data, approximate location information inferred from IP addresses, diagnostic information, and interaction data.
Such information may be processed for ad delivery, ad personalization, frequency capping, fraud prevention, measurement, analytics, and service improvement.
AsaMo does not use the device's location permission to obtain the user's precise location for advertising purposes.
Users may be able to limit ad tracking, reset or delete advertising identifiers, or manage ad personalization through their device settings, operating system settings, Google settings, or consent management options where available.
6. Third-Party Services
AsaMo currently uses third-party services including Google AdMob and Google Play. Google Forms may also be used for inquiries relating to the app.
Information processed by such third parties is handled in accordance with their respective terms, privacy policies, and technical specifications.
AsaMo does not currently use cloud synchronization, online backup, account services, or an in-app external AI API for transmitting users' matrices or calculation results.
If analytics services, crash reporting services, cloud functions, account functions, or external AI communication functions are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as necessary.
The developer does not control, guarantee, or assume responsibility for data handling, outputs, responses, availability, accuracy, security, or any other acts or omissions of third-party services, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Children's Privacy
AsaMo is not directed to children of any particular age group. The developer endeavors not to intentionally collect information that directly identifies children through the core functions of the app.
If the developer becomes aware that personally identifiable information has been provided by a child without appropriate consent, the developer may take reasonable measures where necessary.
8. Disclaimer
AsaMo is provided for general educational, learning, and productivity support purposes only. It is not intended for professional, scientific, medical, engineering, financial, legal, safety-critical, or high-risk decision-making purposes.
The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The developer makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, security, non-infringement, or error-free operation.
Calculation results, saved data, exported data, generated outputs, histories, displays, and related functions may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, unintended outputs, or data loss. Users are solely responsible for independently reviewing, verifying, backing up, and deciding whether to use any results or data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or other damages arising from or related to the use of, inability to use, reliance on, or malfunction of the app.
9. Changes to This Policy
no-title may change this Policy in response to changes in the content of this website, the external services used, applicable laws, or operating methods.
The revised Privacy Policy applies from the time it is published on this website.
